Makayla is 5 months old!!! Holy cow...its CRAZY how fast she is growing up! She is eating her rice cereal now, and I've started her on carrots! Which is going really well! she only looked like she was going to cry for the first bite, then she was fine! She loves talking, smiling, taking baths, going on walks, and watching lost. (No joke, its like she knows that tuesday nights means LOST!!) Oh my, yesterday we took her to my moms classroom (she has baby chicks we have to keep checking on all weekend) and we sat Makayla on the floor with four chicks, and she was just watching them, and i took her hand and helped her pet one, and she grabbed it by the neck! Haha it was the cutest thing! The poor chick squaked, I made her drop it, and she just sat there with a look of 'oh my what just happened?' Then she started crying..So we wont be putting her in arms lenght of the chicks..she can just look at them! AND Tanner got it on video!
For spring break this year, we decided to go to St. George! AH it was so nice, not too hot, but just right. We rented a houes, it had three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it was perfect for us! We enjoyed shopping, eating, watching movies, playing games, and going for walks! It was so relaxing!!
Makayal was blessed Feburary 7, 2010, by Doug Corbridge. It was such a special day..one that I will never forget! After Sacrement, we headed back home for lunch. She just sat in her swing while everyone was eating, and eventually fell asleep..but when she woke up, I didnt get to hold her much because everyone else had her!
